Day One of the Foxwoods World Poker Finals drew a total of 99 entries. There are 45 players advancing to day two and it's Ryan Mostafa at the top of the chip counts with 286,200.

Matthew Voskuil sits in second with 254,300 and Sean Carlson rounds out the top three chip stacks with 216,900.

Sean Carlson and Pete Campo went heads up to the 9♦️6♦️4♠️ flop and Carlon fired out a bet of 4,500. Campo raised to 13,000 and Carlson made it 50,000.

With the action back on Campo he moved all in for 99,300 and after giving it plenty of thought Carlson called putting Campo at risk.

Campo failed to improve and he was eliminated and Carlson scooped the monster top to vault to the top of the chip counts.

Event 18: Francine Lee Wins the $250 Ladies NLH $10,000 GTD

Francine Lee

The $250 Ladies NLH $10,000 Guaranteed event drew a total of 58 entries creating a prize pool of nearly $12,000.

When it came down to the final two ladies they agreed to split the remaining prize pool and play for the trophy.

Francine Lee got the better of Mary Desmond in the heads-up match to take home $3,229 and her first Foxwoods Poker trophy.

It's a battle for the chip lead as three players are currently neck and neck at the top of the chip counts.

James Campbell raised to 800 from the cutoff and Luke Vrabel re-raised to 3,200 from the button. It folded back to Campbell who called and they went heads up to the 9♦️9♣️5♠️ flop.

Campbell check-called a bet of 2,000 from Vrabel and the dealer burned and turned the K♣️.

Campbell check-called a bet of 6,000 and the A♥️ completed the board. Campbell checked for a third time and Vrabel tossed out a bet of 10,000 sending Campbell into the tank.

As Campbell reached for the calling chips and Vrabel begin to talk. "Just pay me off, oops I can't say that, How's the firefighting going and how's the weather" he said.

Campbell then pulled the chips back and folded. "I had to talk to get you fold I've gotta show this one" Vrabel said turning over 8♣️4♣️ for just eight high.

"That's the only runout you could have got to make me fold" Campbell said with a smile as Vrabel scooped the pot.

In one of the last hands before the break Luke Vrabel scooped a monster pot. There was about 10,000 in the main pot on the 7♣️4♥️2♦️Q♥️ board when his opponent moved all in for 15,000.

Vrabel snap called turning over 7♥️7♦️ for a flopped set and his opponent was drawing dead holding Q♣️J♦️. The meaningless river earned Vrabel the knockout and he is now up to over 80,000.

Event 18 of the Foxwoods World Poker Finals is the $250 Ladies NLH with a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.

There were 58 total entries creating a prize pool of $11,846. The final seven players will all make the money and be guaranteed a minimum of $651 for their efforts.

Darren Elias check-raised to 6,000 and Mostafa called. They went heads up to the 8♠️ turn and both players checked.

The 8♦️ completed the board and Elias fired out a bet of 8,000. After giving it some thought Mostafa folded and Elias took the pot.
