Our second Championship flight has come to an end and after 10 levels of play it's Patrick Kelly bagging the overall chip lead with 239,100. Brock Wilson sits in second with 188,300 and Bart Guthrie rounds out the top three Day 1B stacks with 172,000.

Patrick Kelly has caught fire here in the late stages of Day 1B. He was one of the first players over 100,000 and has kept his foot on the gas.

Kelly continues to rake in pot after pot and is now the first player over 200,000. He is all alone at the top of the chip counts with 215,000 and less than 45 minutes of play left in the day.

With tournament registration and re-entry remaining open until the start of Day 2 we are seeing our fair share of late arrivals today. There are plenty of big name poker pros already in the field including Vanessa Selbst, Galen Hall, Andy Frankenberger and Will Failla just to name a few.

This stacked Foxwoods Poker Classic Championship field has gotten a little tougher. Just before the last break of the night Olivier Busquet arrived. Busquet has earned more than $8,000,000 in live tournaments and holds 2 WPT titles, 2 Ept titles, 1 Borgata poker title and 1 PNIA title.

He wasted little time getting in on the action as we catch him moving all in on the river and scooping a pot just as we returned from the break.

The action folds to Brian Altman on the button and he raises to 1,500. Gennadly Kostroy calls from the big blind and they go heads up to the 5♣️3♦️3♠️ flop.

Kostroy check calls a bet of 1,400 from Altman and the turn is the 7♠️. Kostroy checks and Altman throws out a bet of 8,000. Kostroy makes the call and the 10♠️ completes the board.

Kostroy checks for a third time and Altman slides out a stack of blue chips covering Kostroy who has 24,075 behind. Kostroy quickly calls turning over A♠️3♣️ and Altman flips over his 8♦️6♠️ for a busted straight draw.

Andy Frankenberger raises to 1,500 from early position and player in middle position calls. It folds around to Todd Rebello in the big blind and he re-raises to 3,800.

Both players call and go they three handed to the 10♠️5♣️4♠️ flop. Rebello leads out with a bet of 4,500 and Frankenberger calls. The middle position player gets out of the way and they go heads up to the 7♥️ turn.

As the players return from their first break of the day we notice Vanessa Selbst has joined the Day 1B Foxwoods Poker Classic NLH Championship field. Selbst began honing her poker skills right here at Foxwoods in the early days of her illustrious poker career.

Since then she has gone on to become one of the most accomplished poker pros in the game. Selbst has earned more than $11,000,000 in live tournaments and has won 3 WSOP bracelets, 2 LAPC titles a PCA title and 2 Foxwoods Poker titles along with countless tournament scores all around the globe.

She has recently taken a step back from poker to focus on other endeavors but is right back at Foxwoods where it all began.

Nick Pupillo fresh off his Six-Max NLH win on Thursday in which he took home $10,397 along with the his first Foxwoods Poker Classic trophy.

The Day 1B Foxwoods Poker Classics Championship players are now on their first 15 minute break of the day. The field continues to grow and there's still plenty of time to get in on the action.

Tournament registration and re-entry will remain open until the start of Day 2 which gets back underway on Sunday March 25 at 11 A.M. All new entries and re-entries will start with 30,00 tournament chips and the blinds will be 600/1,200 with a 200 ante at the start of Day 2.

The Day 1B Championship field continues to grow and John Caputo is among the first wave of players to take their seats. Caputo started the series off by taking down Event 1 for over $61,000 after and adjusted payout agreement.

He followed that up with another final table appearance in the $300 NLH Seniors Event finishing 7th for over $4,500. If that wasn't enough he then finished 3rd in the $1,200 NLH $125,000 GTD event notching another $17,071 tournament score.

Caputo has already earned more than $81,000 this series and is looking to make one last deep run here in the Foxwoods Poker Classic championship event.

Day 1B of the Foxwoods Poker Class $2,500 NLH Championship is just underway here in the tournament are and Andy Frankenberger is wasting no time putting his starting stack to work.

We are still in the first level of play and Frankenberger who is sitting at the livestream feature table has already more than doubled his starting stack.

Frankenberger was holding K♦️K♥️ against the Q♥️Q♣️ of his opponent and all of the chips went in the middle on the J♣️3♥️3♦️ flop.

He is now playing more than 60,000 and the two time WSOP bracelet winner is off to a red hot start here on Day 1B.
