Priscilla Amaral Wins the Ladies Event ($5,431)

The $250 NLH Ladies Event drew a total of 93 entries creating a prize pool of more than $19,000. There was plenty of action throughout the day but when the smoke cleared Priscilla Amaral was the last lady standing.

Amaral entered the final table as the chip leader but it was runner up Emilie Stallings who gained a massive chip lead with just four players remaining. Amaral kept her composure throughout and overcame a large chip deficit on her way to victory.

This is her first Foxwoods Poker Classic title and she will take home $5,431 for the win. Below is a full list of the Event 11 Ladies NLH final table results.

The Event 12 players have just returned from their last break of the night. There are 24 players left in the hunt and we are inching closer to the money bubble. The final 15 will all make the money and be guaranteed at least $2,918.

There are less than two one hour levels left in the night at which time the bagging process will begin. The Day 1 surviving players will return Sunday March 18 at 11 A.M. to resume Day 2 play.

Laurel Hilton raises to 5,000 and Kyle Merron reraises to 15,000. Hilton calls and they go heads up to the 8♣️8♥️6♥️ flop.

Both players check and the dealer burns and turns the 5♣️. Hilton check calls a bet of 12,000 from Merron and the J♥️ completes the board. Hilton leads out with a bet of 35,000 and Merron moves all in covering Hilton who has about 75,000 behind. 

Hilton quickly calls and Merron turns over J♠️J♦️ for a rivered full house. Hilton fires her hand face down into the muck and Merron vaults to the top of the chip counts.

There are 39 Event 12 players left in the hunt and it's Baseem Nasier pacing the field. Nasier has held the chip lead for much of the day and he is holding strong at the top with 290,000.

Jeffrey Higgins was just over 200,000 as they left on dinner break and his upward trend continued when play resumed. Higgins is now up to 250,000 and is quickly gaining ground on the overall chip leader Nasier.

Event 12 of the Foxwoods Poker Classic is the $1,090+$110 NLH event with a $125,000 guarantee. There were a total of 138 entries creating a prize pool of $145,907.

The final 15 players will all make the money and be guaranteed at least $2,918. The winner will be taking home $39,104 along with the Foxwoods Poker Classic trophy.

Nicholls leads out with a bet of 12,500 and Yi moves all in for his last 27,000. Nicholls makes the call turning over 7♥️6♥️ for two pair and Yi shows A♣️J♣️ for top pair. The river 4♣️ is now help to Yi who is eliminated and Nicholls adds to his stack.
