After recently eliminating Andrew Heckman in 2nd place, Andrew Lauer just won his first World Series of Poker Circuit ring, after taking down Event #1 for $17,475.

Event #1: Andrew Heckman Eliminated in 2nd Place ($10,800)

On a board reading [ad][ks][kc], Andrew Heckman shoved all in holding [qc][jd], and Andrew Lauer quickly called holding [ac][8h] for two pair. The [3d] turn and [9d] river did not improve Heckman's hand and he is eliminated in 2nd place, paying $10,800. This was Heckman's first ever Foxwoods tournament, as he just recently turned 21 years old.

Event #1: Final Two Chip Counts

We are now heads up with the final two players in Event #1.  These two are playing for the $17,475 top prize, a World Series of Poker gold ring, and 50 Casino Champion Points.  (The player earning the most points over the Foxwoods series will win a free seat into the WSOP Global Casino Championship, valued at $10,000 (with a $1,000,000 min. prizepool.)  For more information on the Casino Championship and Points model please see this link.

The flop comes [kc][6s][3c], giving Lauera set of kings.  The [js] turn and [2h] river do not change the hand, and Beaudreau is eliminated in 3rd place, taking home $7,864.

John Guerriero was all in last hand holding [kc][jh], and tripled up when the board ran out [kd][8h][6d][ks][5s].

The next hand he shoves all in holding [7c][7d], and is called by Andrew Lauer holding [jc][jd]. The board runs out [kc][5c][5d][10s][3d], eliminating Guerrieroin 4th place, paying $5,808.

The flop comes [kc][5c][4c]. Leong bets 52,000, and Heckman calls.

The turn is the [10d]. Leong shoves all in, and Heckman calls.

Heckman: [8s][8c] (pair of eights)

"Keep it red and low," Heckman says, and the river comes the [5h], eliminating Leong in 5th place.

Chris Leong raises to 20,000, and Marc Polito shoves all in on the button for around 100,000. Leong calls, and the players table their hands.

The flop comes [qc][10c][9s], giving Polito a pair of tens, but also giving Leong a straight for the lead.  Unfortunately for Polito, the [ad] turn and [5s] river do not improve his hand, and he is eliminated in 6th place, taking home $3,334

 David Pimentel is all in holding [as][qs], and has been called by Chris Leong holding [ac][7c].
The flop comes [10h][6h][2h], leaving Pimentel in the lead, but that changes when the turn comes the [7s], giving Leong a pair of sevens.  Leong improves to trips when the river comes the [7d], and Pimentel is eliminated in 7th place.
