The Day 1E Event 1 field is thinning fast following the dinner break and we are inching closer to the money the bubble. There are just 70 players remaining and it's Jordan Phillips leading the way with about 450,000.

Soheb Porbandarwala
Vito Masi is making another strong Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge showing and is sitting with 275,000. Soheb Porbandarwala is in his words "running good" and he's just climbed over 200,000.

The final 50 Day 1E players will all the make the money and be guaranteed at least $1,200. Day 1 play will come to an end when just 42 players remain and the bagging process will begin.

Event 1 ($600 NLH): Registration is Closed, 1,268 Entries Created a Prize Pool of Over $650,000

Event 1 tournament registration is now closed and we had a massive turnout of 1,268 entries through six Day 1 starting flights. The $500,000 guarantee was shattered with over $650,000 in the prize pool

Day 2 play will resume on Monday December at 11 A.M. with 130 combined Day 1A-F survivors. They'll all be in the money and battle it out until our Event 1 Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge Champion is crowned.

The payouts are now being finalized and will be posted right here on the Foxwoods Poker Blog as soon as they're available.

The final 50 Day 1E players will all make the cash and be guaranteed a minimum of $1,200. We are playing down to the final 42 Day 1E players at which time they will bag and tag their chips.

The combined Day 1A-F survivors will then return tomorrow Monday December 3 at 11 A.M. to resume Day 2 play and play down to a winner.

We will pick back up on the live Day 1E action when play resumes at approximately 8:45 P.M.

Martinho Camara
Martinho Camara holds two Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge titles already and he wasted no time putting his stack to work here on Day 1E of Event 1.

Camara has been mixing it up in plenty of pots and his aggressive strategy is certainly paying off. He has chipped up to 165,000 and is now one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Chris Lim
Three players saw a flop of 9♣️8♠️5♥️ and it checked to the player in the cutoff who bet 3,600 into a main pot of about 7,500. Chris Lim called and Brian Altman check-raised to 11,000.

The cutoff folded and with the action back on Lim he moved all in for 32,400. After giving it some thought Altman called and the hands were shown.

The Final Event 1 Flight Begins at 4 P.M.

There were 1,067 entries through the first five flights and there's already over $550,000 in the prize pool.

There have been 651 total entries through our first four Event 1 flights and Day 1E is just underway here in the tournament.

There are already 67 players returning Monday December 3 at 11 A.M. to resume Day 2 play and play down to a winner. Eric Phan from Day 1A holds the overall chip lead after bagging a staggering 663,000.
