Nick Palma Wins the $400 Deep Stack Event ($23,630)

Nick Palma is officially the champion of the $400 Deep Stack event at the 2012 Foxwoods Poker Classic.

He takes home $23,630, the Foxwoods Poker Classic Trophy and the watch!

With the blinds at 50,000-100,000, Jason Resendes raises before the flop to 200,000.  Nick Palma calls and the flops comes [Qh][Td][8s].  Palma checks and Resendes announces that he is all-in.  Palma calls and they turn over:

Palma - [Th][6h]
Resendes - [8c][7h]

The turn is the [Kd] and the river comes the [5c].  Palma wins the pot with his pair of tens.

Jason Resendes is eliminated in 2nd place for $13,882.

On a flop of [Ah][Ks][5s], Jason Resendes bets 150,000 and Eric Kitain moves all-in.  Resendes calls and they turn over:

The turn is the [3c] and the river comes the [7c].  The two pair of Resendes holds up to win the pot and eliminate Kitain in 3rd place for $8,959.

Mike Linster raises to 125,000 from the button and is called by Nick Palma in the big blind.  The flop comes [Tc][9c][6s] and Palma checks.  Linster bets 150,000 and Palma makes it 550,000.  Linster moves all-in and Palma immediately makes the call.  They turn over:

Palma flops top set but Linster flopped the nut straight.  However, the turn is the [9h], giving Palma a full house and the pot.

Linster is eliminated in 4th place for $7,187.

Nick Palma raises to 85,000 before the flop and Lokesh Garg moves all-in for just under 200,000.  Erick Kitain then four-bets all-in and Palma mucks [8c][8s] face up.

The turn is the [2c] and the river comes the [3d].  Linster takes the pot, eliminating Kim in 10th place for $1,870.
