With Event 9 Six-Max tournament registration now closed there are some big stacks starting to emerge. Nick Pupillo looks to in the lead with 110,000 but Soukha Kachittavong is right on his heels with close to 100,000.

These two big stacks are now sharing the felt and there's plenty of potential for a monster pot if they decide to clash. "I'm going to be very cautious when it comes to Nick" said Kachittavong as we walked past the table.

John Caputo Wins Event 7, Earning His Second WSOP Ring and $12,260

Event 7 of the Foxwoods World Series of Poker Classic was the $400 NLH $30,000 Guaranteed ring event. There were 139 entries creating a prize pool of more than $45,000.

When the dust settled Foxwoods legend John Caputo was the last man standing. Caputo started the Day 2 final table with the short stack but secured a double up early on and never looked back.

He went on to defeat Chris Hancock heads-up after the two battled it out for over an hour. "That guy was one tough player" said Caputo after the lengthy heads-up battle.

Caputo takes home $12,260 along with his second WSOP Circuit ring and has now earned more than $525,000 throughout his illustrious poker career.

Chris Hancock moved all in for 520,000 and John Caputo called. Hancock turned over 3♦️3♠️ and Caputo showed A♥️8♠️. The dealer fanned the A♠️J♠️9♥️ flop and Caputo paired his ace in the window to take the lead. 

The turn was the 6♣️ and Hancock asked the dealer for three on the river. He did not get his wish when the 5♣️ completed the board and the two players shook hands. Hancock is our Event 7 runner up and takes home $7,579 for his second place finish. 

Event 9: $600 Six-Max NLH Payouts, $22,784 Up Top

Event 9 of the Foxwoods World Series of Poker Circuit is the $600 Six-Max NLH with a $50,000 guarantee. There were a total of 158 entries creating a prize pool of $81,370.

The final 18 players will all make the money and be guaranteed a minimum of $1,008. The Event 9 Six-Max winner will take home $22,784 and the WSOP Circuit ring.

Monro Secor and John Caputo went heads up to the 7♠️4♥️2♥️ flop and Caputo checked. Secor moved all in and Caputo called for his last 395,000. Secor showed top pair holding A♦️7♣️ and Caputo was in bad shape with 6♦️4♦️ for middle pair. 

The turn 9♦️ was no help to Caputo but the 6♣️ hit the river improving Caputo to two pair to earn him the double up. Secor was left with 150,000 but rain his K♦️J♣️ into the A♥️K♠️ of Caputo just a few hands later.

 Secor is our 3rd place Event 7 finisher and will take home $5,469 for his efforts.

Chris Hancock and Jim Nicoli were heads up on the river on the Q♣️6♠️5♥️7♣️3♥️ board. There was close to 200,000 in the main pot and Nicoli moved all in for 203,000. Hancock snap called turning over 4♣️2♦️ for rivered straight.

"Nice hand" said Nicoli flashing his 5♠️6♣️ for a flopped two pair. Hancock dragged in the pot and Nicoli is our 4th place Event 7 finisher earning $4,020. Chris Hancock- 825,000

Monro Secor and Matt Smith went heads up to the A♣️K♥️7♣️ flop and Secor checked. Smith bet 25,000 and Secor check-raised to 100,000. With the action back on Smith he moved all in for 244,000 and Secor quickly called. 

Smith turned over A♥️5♣️ for top pair and Secor showed K♣️8♣️ for middle pair and the nut flush. The turn 6♦️ was no help to Secor but he spiked his club on the river when the 4♣️ completed the board. 

Secor improved to the nut flush and Smith was eliminated in 5th place earning $3,003 for his efforts.
