Event #20, Flight A Chip Leader, Je Wook Oh

Je Wook Oh has bagged the chip lead for the first flight of our Championship event with 208,100.  Flight B will be played tomorrow (Sat. March 26th at 11am).  Players making it through will return to play Day 2 on Monday at 11am.

Je Wook Oh - Chip Leader of Flight A - 208,100

Event #20A - Peter Sennon Doubles Up Last Hand of the Night

Blinds: 400/800
Ante: 100

A player in early position raises to 2,200.  Eric Siegel calls in the small blind, and Peter Sennon shoves all in from the big blind.  The original raiser goes into the tank, and after nearly four minutes, calls the all in bet.  Siegel folds.

Sennon: [jc][jh]
Opponent: [9c][9h]

The board runs out [kh][6h][6c][4h][6d].  Sennon will take the pot with his higher full house.

Peter Sennon - 89,000

Event #20A - Samuel Taylor Doubles Again

Facing Two All-In Shoves, The Button is in the Tank

Blinds: 400/800
Ante: 100

On a board reading [ac][10d][7d][8h], a player in the big blind shoves all in.  Samuel Taylor also shoves all in for less in the cutoff.  The player on the button goes into the tank.  After two minutes of thinking, and apologizing to his tablemates, the player folds.

Taylor: [as][4d] (pair of aces)
Big Blind: [10h][6h] (pair of tens, gutshot straight draw)

The [3h] comes on the river, awarding Taylor a full double.  The player on the button tells the table he folded pocket nines.

Taylor - 50,000

On a board reading [ad][10s][6s][3s][9d], Brad St. Vincent checks in middle position and the player in the cutoff shoves all in.

St. Vincent asks for a count and upon hearing the 18,000 total, he goes into the tank.  He sits back in chair, runs his hands through his hair, and leans back.

Three minutes pass, and the his opponent says, "I'll show ya man."

St. Vincent continues to think for another minute before folding.

"No, don't fold," his opponent says.  To which St. Vincent responds, "I'll still see your cards though."

The player exposes [ks][5s] for the flush.

"Did you have a queen?" he asks St. Vincent.  To which St. Vincent responds, "I had at least a queen."
