Event #3 ($250 No-Limit Hold'em Super Stack Turbo) - Results

Event #1, Flight C - Advancing Players (By Chip Count)

John McCabe - Flight C Chip Leader

Here is a look at the 39 players advancing to Day 2 in the money from Flight C of the $600 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry event. These 39 will join with the 16 from Flight A, and the 23 from Flight B. Day 2 play will begin at 11:00 am on Monday April 30th.

One player bagged twice, Jay Feingold.  Feingold bagged 40,300 in yesterday's Flight B, and then bagged 163,700 in today's Flight C. He will carry forward only the 163,700 stack to tomorrow's Day 2, and has received $1,200 for his smaller stack. This means that only 78 players will return to play Day 2 instead of the originally scheduled 79.

A player in early position moves all in for 600 total. It folds to the button who looks questioningly at the table across the table, and the dealer confirms that the player in all in for less.  The button calls, as does the small blind. Ryan Clements raises to 20,000 in the big blind, and the button and small blind both fold their hands.

"Why raise there?  Why not just call and give three players a chance to get him out," the button asks Clements.

Clements says, "Because I had these," as he turns over KK♣.

"Kings are good," the player in early position says as he turns over Q10♣.

The board runs out, 84♠3♠3K♠ improving Clements to a full house, and eliminating his opponent from play.

The remaining 40 players are now bagging up their chips for the night, and will return to play Day 2 tomorrow at 11am.

Giuseppe Ruvolo

According to Giuseppe Ruvolo, he recently eliminated Foxwoods regular John Caputo to cross over the 200k chip mark.

There were two limpers pre-flop, and John Caputo made it 7,000 in the small blind. Ruvolo called in the big blind, and both of the other players folded.

The flop came A-Q-6. Caputo bet 12,000, and Ruvolo called.

The turn was a 10, and Caputo moved all in.  Ruvolo quickly called with his set of sixes, and Caputo turned over 7-7 for a pair of sevens.

The river card was safe for Ruvolo, and Caputo was eliminated from play, while Ruvolo now sits with around 260,000.

David Carleton - Pictured Here in a Previous Event
Hand #1:

A player in middle position opens to 3,200, and David Carleton moves all in for 23,700 in the hijack. It folds back to the original raiser who calls.

Carleton: A♠K♣
Opponent: 6♠6♣

The flop comes J65♠, giving Carleton's opponent a set of sixes.  The J♣ on the turn improves his opponent to a full house, and the river is the 9♣.

Carleton is left with just over a big blind.

Hand #2:

It folds to Carleton in the cutoff who moves all in for his remaining 1,900, and the small blind moves all in over the top.  The big blind asks for a count of the small blind's chips, and upon hearing the 18,100 total, he opts to fold.

Carleton: A9♣
Small Blind: K♣K♠

The board runs out Q♠2♠24♣6, and Carleton is eliminated from play.
