Event 1 Final Payouts, $92,327 Up Top

Event 1 of the Foxwoods Mega Stack is the $600 NLH with a $500,000 guarantee. There are a total of 959 entries creating a prize pool of $508,270.

116 players will return on Day 2 and they will all be in the money and guaranteed $1,208. The winner will be taking home $92,327 along with the Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge trophy.

A player in middle positon raises to 3,500 and Hee Joong "H.J." Im (pictured) calls from the small blind. The big blind calls and they go three handed to the 10♦️7♦️6♣️ flop.

The action checks around ad the turn brings the 7♥️. Im leads out with a bet of 4,300 and the big blind calls. The river is the 3♣️ and Im checks to the big blind who bets 13,000.

After giving it some thought Im makes the call and his opponent shows K♣️9♦️ for just king high. Im rolls over 2♦️2♣️ for just pocket deuces but it's enough to earn him the pot.

Melanie Duval is beginning to distance herself from the Day 1D field. She eliminated Matthew Wantman just before the break thanks to a jack on the flop holding pocket jacks against his pocket aces.

Since then she continues to climb and is now the first player in the field over 200,000. Although she is sitting behind a mountain of chips it's going to be a tall task for anyone to catch Michael Dobbs who bagged 873,000 on Day 1B.

Five players see a flop of J♠️10♠️4♥️ and the small blind checks. The big blind fires out a bet of 2,500 and Soukha Kachittavong makes the call. The other players quickly fold and they go heads up to the 4♣️ turn.

The small blind checks and Kachittavong tosses out a bet of 5,000. His opponent folds and Kachittavong flashes his K♥️K♣️ while he rakes in the pot.

Fourth and Final Event 1 Flight Underway

The fourth and final Event 1 flight of the Foxwoods Poker Mega Stack Challenge is now underway and the players continue to fill the tournament area. Day 1A-C saw a total of 585 entries and 71 of those players will be moving on Day 2.

Ted Driscoll Wins Event 4 ($5,704)



Event 4 of the Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge was the $250 NLH Super Stack Turbo Bounty. There were 153 total entries creating a prize pool of more than $24,000 and when the dust settled Ted Driscoll was the last man standing.
