Event 5: $400 Big Stack Bounty NLH Begins at 12 PM


Event 5 of the Foxwoods Megastack Challenge is the $400 Big Stack Bounty NLH. 

The players will begin with 30,000 in non value tournament chips and levels 1-25 will last 30 minutes.

Levels 26+ will be 30 minutes and this is a one day unlimited re-entry event that features the big blind ante structure and the high hand promotion throughout the first level.

Event 4 of the Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge is the $300 Seniors NLH with a $20,000 Guaranteed prize pool.

The buy in will be $1,000 for players under the age of 50 and the buy in for those 50+ will be discounted to $300.

The players will begin with 25,000 in non value tournament chips and the levels will last 30 minutes.

This is a one day unlimited re-entry event that features the big blind ante structure and the high hand promotion throughout the first level.

The player with the highest hand (Trips or better) in Level 1 will receive their full tournament buy in back.

Event 1 of the Foxwoods Megastack Challenge was the $600 NLH $250,000 Guarantee. There was a massive total of 844 entries creating a prize pool of over $400,000.

When the smoke cleared John Diolosa was the last man standing in the early morning hours earning his largest career tournament score of $73,148 and his first Foxwoods Megastack Challenge trophy.

John Diolosa raised to 700,000 and Soheb Porbandarwala re-raised to 4,000,000. Diolosa moved all in and Porbandarwala called for about 9,000,000.

Diolosa turned over 6♥️6♦️ and he was dominating the 5♦️5♣️ of Porbandarwala.

The board ran out J♥️10♦️7♥️3♥️9♠️ and Diolosa's pocket sixes held up to earn him the knockout. 

Porbandarwala is our Event 1 runner up and will take home $47,120 for his efforts.

John Diolosa limped in and Ryan Gebow moved all in for 3,400,000 from the small blind. Soheb Porbandarwala re-shoved all in from the big blind and Diolosa quickly folded.

Gebow showed 9♣️8♣️ and would need to improve against the A♥️Q♣️ of Porbandarwala. 

The K♠️2♣️2♠️7♠️3♥️ runout was no help to Gebow and he was eliminated in 3rd place earning $33,486 for his efforts.
