L.J. Sande
The action folded around to L.J. Sande on the button and he raised to 11,000. The small blind folded and David Alexander re-raised to 29,000 from the big blind.

With the action back on Sande he slid out a stack of about 75,000 and Alexander moved all in. Sande snap called turning over A♥️A♠️ and it was a cooler for Alexander who showed A♦️K♥️.

The board ran out clean for Sande 10♥️9♦️8♦️10♠️K♦️ and his aces held up to earn him the double up.

David Alexander
Alexander was left with just 28,000 and eliminated in the very next hand when his A♠️7♠️ failed to improve against the A♦️10♦️ of Mark O.

The remaining 18 players are now all in the money and guaranteed at least $1,200 and Day 1B play will conclude with just three more eliminations.

A player in middle position raised to 8,500 and chip leader Eric Vogel re-raised to 21,500 from the button. The player in the big blind moved all in for 120,000 and the middle position player re-shoved all in for 175,000.

Vogel snap called putting both players at risk and the hands were shown.

Eric Vogel: A♣️A♦️
Big Blind: Q♦️Q♥️

It was a dream spot for Vogel but he had to sweat the turn and river as their were two hearts on the flop. The turn and river were no help to the middle position player and Vogel's aces held up sending both players to the rail.

Vogel scooped the massive pot and is now all alone at the top of the chip counts with 680,000 and we are just three eliminations away from the money.
