Event #11 - Day 3 Seat Assignments and Chip Counts, Michael Dobbs Leads

Michael Dobbs - Chip Leader

The final seven players are now bagging up their chips for the night, and will return to play Day 3 tomorrow (Thursday March 30th) at 12:00 noon to play down to a winner.

Play will resume at Level 31 (50,000/100,000 blinds and a 10,000 ante). The average chip stack coming back will be 3,182,857.

Michael Dobbs is coming into Day 3 as the chip leader. There was recently a four way all in preflop that resulted in Shawn Wilder winning a monster pot.

According to the table, four players got it all in with Jason Calnan holding AK♠, Shawn Wilder holding JJ♠, Aram Zobian holding 1010♠, and another player holding pocket kings.

The flop came A♠95, giving Calnan the lead with a pair of aces. He maintained that lead when the turn came the 4, but the J on the river gave Wilder a set of jacks to nearly quadruple up, and Zobian was eliminated from play.  Calnan was awarded the side pot.

David Carleton was recently left extremely short, with just a few big blinds after getting it all in holding ace king against Aram Zobian holding 87. Zobian flopped two pair to leave Carleton extremely short. Carleton then went on to double up twice, and had around 85,000.

There's around 75,000 in the middle, and there are three players to looking at the 5♥3♣2♠ flop. Two-time Foxwoods World Series of Poker Circuit ring winner Andrew Lauer checks in the big blind, Carl Priest checks in the hijack, and Dan Chen bets 45,000 on the button. Only Lauer calls.

The river is the A♣. Lauer pauses for a few seconds before slowly checking, and Chen checks behind, quickly turning over J♣J.

Lauer lets out a sigh, mucks his cards without showing and asks Chen, "You fold if I jam huh?"  Chen nods yes as the pot is pushed over to him.

Event #11, Flight F - Advancing Players (By Chip Count)

Here is a look at the 39 players advancing to Day 2 in the money from Flight E of the $400 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry Multi-Flight event.  These 39 players will join the 23* from Flight A, the 15 from Flight B, the 13 from Flight C, the 16 from Flight D, and the 29 from Flight E, and will return to play Day 2 on Wednesday March 29th at 12:00 noon.

Mike Nye bagged for a second time in this flight, so he will be carrying only his bigger stack forward, and the Day 2 field will be reduced by one more player, leaving only 133 players returning tomorrow.

*In the last hand of Flight A, two players were eliminated on the bubble at separate tables, leaving 23 players to advance to Day 2. Since 24 players made the money in this flight, Paul Freedman and James Frangoulidis each took home $400 (splitting the $800 prize for 24th place).
