Haralambos doubles up through John again!

Haramlambos Saridis doubled up for a second time at this final table, and again it was at the expense of John Germano.  Haramlambos picked up [Ah][Ac] against John's [9d][9c].  The board ran out [8h][As][Jd][Jc][Qd], and Haramlambos vaulted up to approximately 1.5 million, while John was left with around 700,000.

9th Place: Svetoslav Georgiev ($2,941)

Coming in as the second shortest stack, Svetoslav could not get anything going at this final table.  He got the last of his chips in with [Js][7s] against the A-T of Carl Priest.  Like Silvio, Svetoslav was live to the river but was unable to catch a pair.  He will exit this tournament in 9th place, good for $2,941.

10th Place: Silvio Mantuano ($2,325)

Though it was his birthday yesterday and Silvio thought he was going to win the tournament today, unfortunately he was eliminated in 10th place.  Silvio was unfortunate to lose the bulk of his chips in a kings vs. aces scenario against Michael Nye.  He got the rest of his chips in with K-8 against the A-7 of Steven Shackleton.  Silvio was live all the way to the river, but failed to connect.  He will earn $2,325 for his 10th place finish.

Early action at this final table

We've seen two players all in and at risk so far at this final table, but no eliminations.

Haralambos Saridis looked to be our 10th place finisher when he ran his A-T into the A-Q of John Germano, but a ten on the flop saved Haralambos's tournament life.

Then Michael Nye was the benefactor of a cooler, picking up pocket aces against the pocket kings of Silvio Mantuano.  An ace fell on the flop, and by the turn Silvio was drawing dead, leaving him with only a few hundred thousand chips.

In 3 minutes, blinds increase to 30,000/60,000 with a 10,000 ante.

Blinds have gone up to 10,000/20,000 with a 3,000 ante, and this will be the last level of the night.  Only 22 players remain from the starting field of 591 entrants, and those players that make it through the next 30 minutes will bag up their chips and return at 12pm EST to play down to a winner.

We are down to 36 players in today's $300 Mega Stack tournament, and they are all now on their last ten minute break of the night.  When they return, blinds will be 6,000/12,000 with a 2,000 ante.  The field will play that level and two more before bagging up their chips for the night and returning at 12pm EST.

There is just over a half an hour of play before play concludes for the day.  Currently blinds are 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante, and the average stack is around 234,000 or 39 big blinds.

With the completion of level 8, blinds have been increased to 250/500 blinds with a 50 ante.  Levels will now last 40 minutes through level 17.  There are approximately 240 players remaining from the starting field of 303 entrants.

The $600 Mega Stack event is now under way!  Registration is still open, so come on down to have your shot at the $150,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool.  Players start with 25,000 in chips and will be playing 30 minute levels through level 8, then 40 minutes for levels 9-17, and 50 minute levels afterwards.

Tim Kelliher wins the final WSOP Circuit Ring Event and the Casino Championship!

An amazing WSOP Circuit has come to an end with Tim Kelliher capping off a great series.

Tim Kelliher just took down the final Ring event, the $365 No-Limit Hold 'em.  Beating a field of 168 players, Kelliher takes home $13,640 and the Circuit Ring.

Kelliher made four final tables, earned more than $39,000, won his first WSOP Circuit Ring and also won the Foxwoods Casino Championship.  That is good for a seat to the WSOP Circuit National Championship sponsored by Southern Comfort 100 Proof to be played in New Orleans in May.
