Bob Ricciuti

Play has resumed following the dinner break and Bob Ricciuti is near the top with a massive stack of 330,000.

Ricciuti's largest career tournament score came right here at Foxwoods in August's WSOP Circuit. He bested the massive 1,754 entry field in the $600 NLH event earning over $134,000 and his first WSOP Circuit ring.

There are just 36 Day 1A players remaining and Ricciuti will look to finish strong with the final 24 players advancing to day two.

There are just 92 Day 1A players left in the hunt and it's John Quirk alone at the top of the chip counts with 280,000. Quirk has distanced himself well out in front of the field and is the only player over the 200,000 chip mark.

The Day 1A Event 1 $600 NLH $500,000 GTD players have returned from break and play is back underway.

Tournament registration and re-entry are now closed and there were 233 entries here in the opening flight.

The final 28 Day 1A players will all make the money and be guaranteed a minimum of $1,200 for their efforts. 24 Day 1A players will advance to Day 2 on Monday March 9 at 11 AM.

Event 1A $600 NLH: Cards in the Air

Event 1A of the Foxwoods Poker Classic is the $600 NLH with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. The cards are now in the air here in the opening flight and the field is filling up fast.

Day 1A tournament registration and re-entry will remain open until the start of Level 9 or approximately 3:30 PM.

Players will begin with 25,000 in starting chips and this is an unlimited re-entry event. The high hand promotion will be running on every event during the Foxwoods Poker Classic.
