Dena Pearlman has been elimianted

On a [8s][5h][4h] flop, action was checked to Dena Pearlman who put out a bet.  Her lone opponent check raised all in, having Dena covered.  Dena eventually made the call for her tournament life and was shown the bad news, as her opponent had flopped a straight.  Dena would need runner runner to improve her A-8 to a full house or quads.  The [6s] fell on the turn, giving Dena chop outs, but the [Jd] landed on the river to send Dena to the rail in 11th place, good for $2,617. 

Event #1 Final Table Reached

Our 11th place finisher was knocked out when his opponent rivered a straight.  After some confusion on whether it was a chop or not, the final 10 players were reached.  Players are redrawing for their seats at the final table and will continue play shortly.

Event #1 Day 2 is Under Way

Cards are back in the air for Day 2 of Event #1: $365 NLH.  13 players remain, and you can watch the featured table live at www.FoxwoodsLive.com.

Meanwhile, Event #2: $1,125 NLH is on their first break of the day.  Registration is open for one more hour.

Event #3: $365 Omaha 8 or Better has also begun their tournament, and registration will be open until the end of the 6th level.

Event #2: $1,125 NLH is Under Way

Cards are in the air in Event #2: $1,125 NLH.  This event features 15,000 in starting chips and has $100,000 Guaranteed.  Blind levels start at 30 minutes and increase as the tournament progresses.  Registration is open until the end of level 6, which is approximately 2:10pm.  Click here to view the structure sheet for this event.

With the elimination of our 19th place finisher, the final 2 tables have been reached in Event #1 $365 NLH. The clock has been paused with 2 minutes and 3 seconds left in the 4,000/8,000 blind level.  The field will play one more level and then bag up their chips for the night.

Final break of the night

The final 39 players are now on their last break of the night.  The average stack is 143,000, and the blinds will be 3,000/6,000 with a 1,000 ante when the players return.  Tournament staff are now racing off and coloring up the 500 chips.

Event #1 is now in the money

A player was all in before the deal from the small blind and after the button had raised, he found [Qd][9c] against the button's [Js][Jh].  He briefly celebrated after the [8s][Ac][Qh] flop, but the [Jd] hit the turn to leave him drawing dead.  The meaningless [2d] fell on the river, and the remaining 63 players are now in the money.

Rob Brown, Dena Pearlman, and Michael Nye are still among the final 63 in their hunt for a WSOP Circuit Ring.

Event #1 is now hand for hand

We are now down to the final 65 players, and with 2 more eliminations until the money bubble is burst, the tournament is now playing hand for hand.

Players are back from dinner break

Players have returned from their one hour dinner break and are now playing 800/1,600 blinds with a 200 ante.  The 136 remaining players will now be playing 40 minute levels for the remainder of the day.  There will be 9 more levels before bagging up their chips for the night.

With the conclusion of 600/1,200 blinds, the remaining 169 players are now on their 1 hour dinner break.  Play will resume at approximately 6:20pm EST.

The remaining levels for Day 1 will be 40 minutes in duration, and blinds are 800/1,600 with a 200 ante when the players return.

Dena Pearlman wins one

On a [2c][Ks][Ah] flop, Dena Pearlman's opponent check called a bet.  The turn fell the [Js] and Dena's opponent checked once again, prompting Dena to move all in.  Her all in earned a snap fold, and Dena smiled as she dragged the pot, saying "I don't know, you could have hit the turn!"  She now sits on approximately 70,000.

Four way deal reached

The final four players have made a deal and have decided to chop the remaining prize pool evenly.  Each player will receive $36,022.  Here are the official final standings:

Chris Schonbach doubles through Stan Shaw

Chris Schonbach was all in preflop holding [As][9c] and was only 6% to survive as Stan Shaw had [Ah][Ac].  The flop was a dream for the underdog as it fell [Ts][6s][8s], and Chris's odds shot up to 47%.  Amazingly, the [3s] came right away on the turn to give Chris the winning flush.  The [Qs] hit on the river and the rest of the table joked that it was chop as both players had a flush.

5th Place: Jake Vo ($15,221)

Jake Vo was all in preflop holding [Qd][Jd] and was up against two better diamonds.  Stan Shaw held [Ad][Td] and had Jake covered, so he would need to hit to survive.  The board ran out [8c][7h][Ts][6s][6h] and Stan knocked Jake out with two pair.  Jake will earn $15,221 for his 5th place finish today.

6th Place: Mario Crisafi ($12,125)

Mario Crisafi raised preflop and Will "The Thrill" Failla made the call.  The flop fell [5h][Qs][9c] and Mario got the rest of his chip in.  Will said he couldn't fold, so the two tabled their hands:

Will had the best hand with second pair, but Mario could win with a ten or a jack.  The turn brought the [5c], which meant Mario picked up a flush draw and had 15 outs in total.  The [Qd] was not one of those outs, and he will have to settle for 6th place and the $12,125 that comes along with it.

7th Place: Frank Gangemi ($9,803)

Frank Gangemi was all in preflop holding [As][3c] and needed to improve against Will "The Thrill" Failla's [Ad][Kh].  The [Ah][6d][2d] flop gave Frank a backdoor draw to a straight, and the [4h] gave him that backdoor draw.  Frank would need a trey or a five to survive, but the [Ts] hit the river to eliminate Frank in 7th place.  He will earn $9,803 for his efforts.

The remaining 7 players at the final table are now on break.  When they return, blinds will be 20,000/40,000 with a 5,000 ante.

Mario Crisafi doubles up

Mario Crisafi has doubled up when his [Ts][Tc] held up against his opponent's [8h][8d].  The board ran out [Kh][Kd][5c][Qc][Qd] to give him the winning two pair with a ten kicker.  Mario now sits on approximately 500,000.

8th Place: Robert Corcione ($7,869)

Will "The Thrill" Failla raised preflop and then called Robert Corcione's allin to put him at risk.  It was another race as Robert held [3h][3d] to Will's [Ah][Js].  Will caught a pair on the [Jc][8s][Tc] flop, and it held up through the [2c] turn and [8d] river.  Robert will earn $7,874 for his 8th place finish today.

9th Place: Dan Chalifour ($6,199)

Stan Shaw was all in preflop and Dan Chalifour called all in for less.  It was a race as Stan held [6s][6h] to Dan's [Ac][9c].  The flop fell [Qh][8d][Qs] giving Dan nine outs, and the [2c] on the turn changed nothing.  The [3s] hit the river to eliminate Dan in 9th place, good for $6,199.

10th Place: Tom Dobrilovic ($4,385)

Jake Vo moved all in preflop and action folded around to Tom Dobrilovic.  He squeezed his cards and found pocket aces.  Tom was covered, so he was the all in player, and had to fade Jake's pocket tens.  Disaster struck for Tom as a ten hit the flop, and no ace came on the turn or river to save him.  Tom will earn $4,385 for his 10th place finish today.

From under the gun, Stan Shaw moved all in for 525,000, or almost 22 big blinds.  Action folded to Will "The Thrill" Failla who called for almost half of his stack.  The rest of the table folded around, and the two exposed their hands:

Frank Gangemi had claimed to have folded ace king as well, and Will would need a queen to bring this final table to 9 players.  Will asked the dealer if she knew what the queen of diamonds looked like, but apparently she did not as she dealt the [8c][6h][8s] flop.  Will asked for a six now, but the [Th] hit the turn.  The [5d] peeled off on the river to let ace king high win the pot.

At 12,000/24,000 blinds, Tom Dobrilovic opened to 55,000 and Jake Vo moved all in from the small blind.  Tom eventually made the call, and the two tabled their hands:

It was a race, and Jake took a strong lead on the [2h][Qd][7h] flop.  Tom would need a five or running straight cards, but the turn [4d] and river [9s] left him paying off the all in.

After the hand, Tom was down to around 450,000.

Stan Shaw opened the pot before Mario Crisafi moved all in.  Stan made the call and showed [Jh][Jd] but was behind Mario's [Qs][Qc].  The queens stayed in front on a [7d][2h][8h] flop, but Stan picked up a flush on when the turn fell [Ah].  The river was red, but the [5d] was not a heart, and so Mario will earn the first doubleup at this final table.  He now sits on approximately 500,000.
