1st Place: Fred Paradis ($20,176)

After a long heads up battle, Fred Paradis finally eliminated Mark Perry with a fortunate flop.  Fred flopped trips with his [8s][6c] on a [8d][Kc][8c] board, and Mark had A-K.  No king fell on the [4h] turn and [4s] river, and Fred's full house would be 1st place for him.  He will earn $20,176 for his efforts.  Congratulations, Fred!

2nd Place: Mark Perry ($12,463)

Heads up deal made

Fred Paradis and Mark Perry have got virtually even stacks, so they have agreed to adjust the payouts to the following:

1st Place: $17,639
2nd Place: $15,000

$230 HOSE Prize Pool & Payouts

There were 67 entries in today's $230 HOSE Mega Stack, creating a $13,400 prize pool.  The top 7 players will get paid, with $4,550 going to first place.  Here are the full payouts:

1st Place: $4,550
2nd Place: $2,811
3rd Place: $1,864
4th Place: $1,319
5th Place: $994
6th Place: $792
7th Place: $668

Mark Perry doubles through Fred Paradis

Mark Perry had his work cut out for him when he entered heads up play against Fred Paradis at an eight to one chip disadvantage.  The two traded small pots back and forth, but Mark finally found a double up.  On a  [3s][8d][9s] flop, the two got all in with top pair.  Fred had [9c][7d] but Mark had [Js][9d].  The turn was the [Jc], giving Mark two pair but actually giving Fred four outs to the straight rather than 3 outs to two pair. The river was the case [Jd], giving Mark the winning full house and the double up.

3rd Place: Soukha Kachittavong ($9,002)

On a [Qs][Ts][6d][Js] board, Soukha pushed all in with king jack (no spade) and was called by Fred Paradis who held [Ks][Kh].  Soukha was looking for one of the two remaining jacks for the win or a non-spade ace or nine to chop the pot.  The [3h] was not what he was looking for, however, but Soukha is $9,002 richer after this final table appearance.

4th Place: Glen Thompson ($6,603)

Glen Thompson was all in preflop holding [Kc][Jd] and ran into [As][Ac] of chip leader Fred Paradis.  The [6h][3h][Ks] flop gave Glen some hope, but the [6c] turn erased a few of his outs.  When the river fell [4c], Fred raked in the pot and Glen headed to the payout desk to collect his $6,603 payout.

Players are now on break

The 4 remaining players at the $400 Mega Stack final table are now on a 10 minute break.  The tournament staff will be coloring up and racing off the 1,000 chips.  When they return, the blinds will be 15,000/30,000 with a 5,000 ante.

Here are updated chip counts:

Seat 2: Fred Paradis - 2,290,000
Seat 4: Mark Perry - 375,000
Seat 6: Glen Thompson - 360,000
Seat 8: Soukha Kachittavong - 990,000

$130 Bounty Prize Pool & Payouts

There were 194 entries in today's $130 Bounty Mega Stack, creating a $19,400 prize pool.  The top 21 players will get paid, with a mincash worth $202.  Here are the full payouts:

1st Place: $4,742
2nd Place: $2,928
3rd Place: $2,115
4th Place: $1,552
5th Place: $1,160
6th Place: $881
7th Place: $680
8th Place: $534
9th Place: $433
10th-12th Place: $346
13th-15th Place: $284
16th-18th Place: $238
19th-21st Place: $202

5th Place: Steven Brackesy ($4,936)

Soukha Kachittavong opened the pot with a raise to 65,000 before Fred Paradis 3-bet.  Steven Brackesy then cold 4-bet all in.  Action folded back to Soukha who pondered his decision before releasing his hand, and Fred made the quick call.  Steven held pocket kings and would need to dodge a two-outer as Fred held pocket sevens.  The 8-4-2 flop was safe for Steven, but one of the two remaining sevens fell on the turn to put Fred in front.  No king fell on the river, so Steven will have to settle for $4,936 for his 5th place finish.

6th Place: Hermenegildo Trillo ($3,748)

In two successive hands, Hermenegildo Trillo lost all of his chips.  On the first hand, he doubled up Mark Perry.  On the second hand, Hermenegildo pushed all in from the button with [Ah][6d] and Fred Paradis pushed all in over the top from the small blind holding [Qd][Qc].  The board fell [Ks][3h][Jc][9d][9c], and Hermenegildo was sent to the rail in 6th place, good for $3,748.

7th Place: Kevin Hunt ($2,894)

Kevin Hunt was all in preflop holding [Ac][9d] and was called by Glen Thompson who held [Qd][Qc].  The board was no help for Kevin when it fell [Th][6h][4d][3d][2c], and he was sent to the rail in 7th place, good for $2,894.

8th Place: Mark Anderson ($2,274)

Mark Anderson had not made much noise at this final table, and he finally found a spot to get the last of his chips in when he found king queen.  Unfortunately, Hermenegildo Trillo had picked up another hand and his pocket kings were a large favorite.  The case king arrived on the turn to leave Mark with no outs, and the queen on the river punctuated his exit in 8th place.  Mark will earn $2,274 for his efforts.

Kevin Hunt doubles through Hermenegildo Trillo

Kevin Hart (green hat) pushes his chips out for the dealer to count

Kevin Hunt moved all in preflop for approximately 350,000 and was snap called by Hermenegildo Trillo.  All folded to Mark Perry in the big blind, who tanked for quite some time before mucking.

"Aces?" asked Kevin.

Hermenegildo answered by indeed showing him two aces, which were in front of Kevin's two jacks.  Amazingly, the board rolled off four spades to give Kevin the winning flush and letting him survive the all in.

9th Place: Sheila Raine ($1,821)

On the very next hand after Soukha Kachittavong doubled up Mark Perry, Soukha was at it again.  This time he snap called Sheila Raine's all in, holding pocket kings against Sheila's ace jack.  No ace materialized, so Sheila will have to settle for 8th place, good for $1,821.

Mark Perry doubles through Soukha

Mark Perry was all in preflop holding pocket fives against the A-Q of Soukha Kachittavong.  A five on the flop left Soukha drawing dead, and Mark doubled up to about 250,000.  With the blinds at 10,000/20,000, Mark still has some work to do.

Sheila doubles through Hermenegildo

It was an unfortunate cooler for Hermenegildo Trillo as he ran his [Ac][Qc] into the [Ah][Ad] of Sheila Raine.  Sheila had no sweat at all as the board brought no help to Hermenegildo, and she was able to double up to around 500,000.

10th Place: Leonidas Gialelis ($1,474)

Leonidas Gialelis pushed his last 213,000 chips into the middle with pocket tens and was called by Hermenegildo Trillo on his direct left holding pocket queens.  Though Leonidas flopped a backdoor straight draw, Hermenegildo flopped top set, and his hand held through the turn and river.  Leonidas will exit this tournament in 10th place, good for $1,474.

1st Place: Eric Siegel ($31,301)

Steven Shackleton was all in preflop with [Ks][5s] against the [Ad][Kd] of Eric Siegel.  Steven was able to spike a pair on the [Jh][9d][5c] flop, but Eric picked up a flush draw on the [Jd] turn.  The [Qd] river completed Eric's flush, sending Steven to the rail in 2nd place.

Eric Siegel will take home $31,301 for his 1st place finish, and he will take home the Foxwoods Mega Stack trophy.  Congratulations!

2nd Place: Steven Shackleton ($19,302)

Steven Shackleton stands as he sees the river deliver the winning flush to his opponent

Eric Siegel takes the chip lead

Eric Siegel was outchipped almost 3 to 1 against Steven Shackleton before these two hands.

On the first, Eric doubled up holding [Ac][4d] against Steven's [Kh][3h].  The [Ad][9s][Kc][Qh][7d] board gave Eric the winning pair of aces, and he got a double-up to almost even out the stacks.

On the very next hand, Eric was all in again, this time holding [Ah][2s] to Steven's [Kh][Jd].  Again, the best hand held up through the [9d][4s][6d][5s][Td] board.

Steven was left with a little over 400,000, but was able to double up a few hands later with [Ah][8s] against Eric's [Qc][Ts].

3rd Place: Albert Muir ($14,160)

Albert Muir has been eliminated in 3rd place when his ace ten failed to improve against the ace king of Eric Siegel.  Albert will earn $14,160 for his efforts.

Eric Siegel doubles through Albert Muir

Eric Siegel was all in preflop holding [Kd][Kc] against the A-Q of Albert Muir.  The [Qd][Th][7c] gave Eric a bit of a scare, but the five outer never materialized through the [Tc] turn and [2s] river.

4th Place: Michael Nye ($10,493)

Michael Nye was all in with [Jc][Ts] against the A-[7s] of Steven Shackleton.  Michael found a pair on the J-7-A flop, but Steven's two pair would be hard to overcome.  The [Ks] turn and [Th] river failed to improve Michael's hand, and he will exit this tournament in 4th place.  He will earn $10,493 for his efforts.

Eric Siegel doubles through Steven Shackleton

Eric Siegel was all in for his tournament life holding [Kh][9h] vs. the [Ad][Kc] of Steven Shackleton.  Eric would need a lot of help, and he did find a flush draw on the [Jh][8c][3h].  The [7h] on the turn was just what Eric needed, though the card devastated Steven.  The [Ac] gave Steven a losing top pair hand, and Eric earned the double up.

5th Place: Carl Priest ($7,899)

Carl Priest was all in preflop by the [Ah][2h] and was called by Albert Muir holding [Ks][Qc].  The flop fell [5d][6h][9h], jeeping Carl in front with ace high and giving him a flush draw.  Albert would need a king or a queen, but the [Tc] on the turn gave him a gutshot as well.  The river fell the [Jd], filling Albert's gutshot and sending Carl to the rail in 5th place, good for $7,899.

6th Place: Haralambos Saridis ($6,022)

Haralambos Saridis moved all in from the cutoff before Steven Shackleton snap called his all in from the button.  Action was on Carl Priest in the small blind, who tanked for a few minutes before finally folding what he later claimed was pocket nines.  Albert Muir folded [Ac][2c] in the big blind, and the two players tabled their hands:

Haralambos [Td][9d]
Steven [Ks][Kh]

With pocket nines in the muck, Steven had little to worry about.  The [3s][Qc][4d] changed nothing, but the [Kd] opened up straight and flush draws for Haralambos.  The [Kc] hit the river, however, to give Steven quad kings and send Haralambos to the rail in 6th place, good for $6,022.

Eric Siegel doubles through Haralambos Saridis

Eric Siegel was all in preflop holding the [9h][9d] against the [Ac][6c] of Haralambos Saridis.  The [4s][Ad][8c] was unfavorable to Eric, and the [7c] on the turn left Eric drawing to just one out, as the [9c] would give Haralambos the nut flush.  Amazingly, the [9s] fell on the river to give Eric the winning set.

7th Place: John Germano ($4,621)

John Germano has been eliminated in 7th place when his K-J failed to outrun Michael Nye's A-K.  John will collect $4,621 for his efforts.

Updated chip counts at breaks

The final 7 players are now on break.  When they return, they will be playing 40,000/80,000 blinds with a 10,000 ante.  Here are updated chip counts as they currently stand:

Seat 1: Carl Priest - 800,000
Seat 2: Albert Muir - 2,200,000
Seat 3: Michael Nye - 1,500,000
Seat 6: Haralambos Saridis - 1,400,000
Seat 8: Eric Siegel - 500,000
Seat 9: John Germano - 1,100,000
Seat 10: Steven Shackleton - 1,300,000

8th Place: Derek Medeiros ($3,651)

Derek Medeiros was eliminated in 8th place when his [Qc][Ts] failed to improve against the [9d][9c] of Steven Shackleton.  Steven rivered an unnecessary flush when the board fell [Kd][4d][8d][4h][Ad], and Derek was sent to the rail to collect $3,651.

Haralambos doubles up through John again!

Haramlambos Saridis doubled up for a second time at this final table, and again it was at the expense of John Germano.  Haramlambos picked up [Ah][Ac] against John's [9d][9c].  The board ran out [8h][As][Jd][Jc][Qd], and Haramlambos vaulted up to approximately 1.5 million, while John was left with around 700,000.

9th Place: Svetoslav Georgiev ($2,941)

Coming in as the second shortest stack, Svetoslav could not get anything going at this final table.  He got the last of his chips in with [Js][7s] against the A-T of Carl Priest.  Like Silvio, Svetoslav was live to the river but was unable to catch a pair.  He will exit this tournament in 9th place, good for $2,941.

10th Place: Silvio Mantuano ($2,325)

Though it was his birthday yesterday and Silvio thought he was going to win the tournament today, unfortunately he was eliminated in 10th place.  Silvio was unfortunate to lose the bulk of his chips in a kings vs. aces scenario against Michael Nye.  He got the rest of his chips in with K-8 against the A-7 of Steven Shackleton.  Silvio was live all the way to the river, but failed to connect.  He will earn $2,325 for his 10th place finish.

$400 Six-Max Prize Pool & Payouts

There were 126 entries in today's $400 Six-Max tournament.  The top 15 players will make the money, with a mincash worth $607.  Here are the full payouts:

2nd Place: $7,537
3rd Place: $5,433
4th Place: $3,931
5th Place: $2,858
6th Place: $2,087
7th-8th Place: $1,522
9th-10th Place: $1,116
11th-12th Place: $821
13th-15th Place: $607
