Soukha Kachtitavong Wins the $2,500 FPC Championship NLH ($101,827)

The Foxwoods Poker Classic $2,500 Championship NLH $300,000 Guaranteed event drew a total of 183 entries creating a prize pool of over $400,000.

When the smoke cleared Soukha Kachittavong was the last man standing to cap off his incredible series.

It was a Foxwoods Poker Classic for the ages for Kachittavong to put it lightly. He started the series off with a deep run in Event 1 and he was just warming up.

Kachittavong then won Event 2 the 400 entry $300 Big Stack NLH for over $16,000 and the FPC trophy. He locked up his third cash of the series with another final appearance taking 3rd in the Six Max NLH event for nearly $5,000.

Kachittavong wasted no time putting his chips to work here in the FPC Championship bagging the chip lead on Day 1B and he returned 2nd on the chip counts to start Day 2.

It was smooth sailing throughout the second day of Championship play for Kachittavong and 11 players returned on Day 3. Kachittavong was near the bottom of the chip counts but he found an early double and was off an running.

With just four players remaining Kachittavong won the largest pot of the tournament holding pocket aces against the pocket queens of Dave Stefanski and never looked back.

Kachittavong has been on an incredible heater as of late and he will take home $101,827 and the FPC trophy bringing his live career tournament earnings to nearly $1,300,000.
