Luke Vrabel Wins Event 17 for $12,723 and the PSPC Platinum Pass

Luke Vrabel

Event 17 of the Foxwoods World Poker Finals was the $250 PSPC Platinum Pass NLH $25,000 Guaranteed. Their were a total of 286 entries and when the dust settled Luke Vrabel was the last man standing.

Vrabel chipped up early and never looked back on his way to victory. He entered the final table third in chips and caught fire sending player after player to the rail.

When heads up play began Vrabel was holding nearly a 4-1 chip lead against Mike Dobbs. It didn't take long for all of the chips to go in the middle and Vrabel's ace king held up sending Dobbs to the rail in second.

Vrabel is our Event 17 Champion and takes home $12,723, his first Foxwoods World Poker Finals trophy and the PokerStars Platinum pass valued at $30,000.
