Justin Carey Wins Event 6 ($18,313)


Event 6 of the Foxwoods World Series of Poker Circuit was the $600 NLH $30,000 Guarantee. There were a total of 127 entries creating a prize pool of $65,405. When the dust settled it was 21 year old Justin Carey in the winners circle.

Carey started Day 2 with the chip lead but he hit a few bumps in the road along his way to the win. Carey's pocket aces were cracked early but he managed to keep his cool and battled right back into the lead.

Carey earns $18,313 along with his first WSOP Circuit ring and locks up his largest career tournament score in the process.
