Event #2 - Update - 8 Players Remain

Level:  29
Blinds:  30,000/60,000
Ante: 10,000

We are now down to the final eight players in event #2.  John Lyons came into Day 3 short stacked, and was eliminated in 10th place, taking home $9,957.

Lyons shoved all in with sevens, and Sean Carlson snap called with ace-queen. The flop was ace-king-ten, and the turn was running eights, eliminating Lyons in 10th place.

John Lyons - 10th Place - $9,957
Sam Taylor was the next player eliminated, in 9th place.  Taylor is taking home $12,345 for his 9th place finish.

Taylor was left short after doubling Ted Driscoll up holding ace queen off against Driscoll's pocket fives.  The hand he was eliminated with, Taylor shoved his last ten big blinds on the button with [8s][4s], and got called by John Caputo holding [ah][10h].  The flop came [js][10s][10c], giving Caputo trip tens, but also giving Taylor a flush draw.  The [jd] turn however, paired the board, giving Caputo the full house, and the river became inconsequential.
