According to Mark Walsh, he recently doubled up when he turned two pair.  A player had raised in earlier position and Walsh defended with king-queen.  The flop was king high rainbow.  Walsh be 2,500, and his opponent raised all in for 7,800.  Walsh tank called and was up against Ace-king.  Fortunately for him, he turned a queen for two pair, eliminating his opponent from play.

Walsh is now sitting with 55,000 in chips and one of the bigger stacks in the room.

Event #10 ($1,200 NLH) Day 2 Seat Assignments and Chip Counts

A total of 20 players made it through to Day 2 in the $1,200 No-Limit Hold'em Event #10. Those players will return at 12:00 noon on Sunday to play down to a winner.  Play will resume at Level 17 with 2,500/5,000 blinds and a 500 ante. 

George Alberto is the chip leader having ended Day 1 with 703,500.

Event #10 has concluded for the day, and 20 players are advancing to play Day 2 tomorrow at 12:00 noon.  The money bubble burst late in the evening without hand for hand play after a double elimination. Only one player was eliminated in the money before bag and tag (Ernesto Florino in 21st place - $2,649).  The remaining 20 players will return tomorrow to play Level 17 with 2,500/5,000 blinds and a 50 ante. 

We will post the seat draws and chip counts momentarily.

The 6♥ appears in the window, giving Hilton a pair of sixes.  But unfortunately it's followed by the 4♦ and the A♦ (giving Connaughton a bigger pair). 

The 7♣ turn gives Hilton additional straight outs, but the 2♠ river does not improve her hand, and Hilton is eliminated in 3rd place, taking home $1,664.
