Dan Chalifour raised to 5,000 from middle position and Thomas Revello called from the button. Matt Voskuil re-raised to 26,000 from the small blind and Chalifour called.

With the action back on Revello he moved all in for 155,500 and Voskuil called. Chalifour quickly folded and the hands were shown.

The Foxwoods World Poker Finals $2,500 Championship NLH $250,000 Guaranteed drew a total of 107 entries creating a net prize pool of $240,000 after the staffing fee and high hand were deducted.

The final 12 players will all make the money and be guaranteed a minimum of $6,000 for their efforts.

Song doubled his stack in one of the first hands off the deck in which he picked up pocket aces against the pocket kings of Dan Chalifour.

Day One of the Foxwoods World Poker Finals drew a total of 99 entries. There are 45 players advancing to day two and it's Ryan Mostafa at the top of the chip counts with 286,200.

Matthew Voskuil sits in second with 254,300 and Sean Carlson rounds out the top three chip stacks with 216,900.

Event 18: Francine Lee Wins the $250 Ladies NLH $10,000 GTD

Francine Lee

The $250 Ladies NLH $10,000 Guaranteed event drew a total of 58 entries creating a prize pool of nearly $12,000.

When it came down to the final two ladies they agreed to split the remaining prize pool and play for the trophy.

Francine Lee got the better of Mary Desmond in the heads-up match to take home $3,229 and her first Foxwoods Poker trophy.
