On a [7d][8d][Ac] flop, Rami Jradeh went all in with [Ts][9s] and Joseph Umdenstock made the call with [Ah][4s]. Rami wasted no time hitting his straight draw when the turn fell [6d], and Joseph was drawing dead. The meaningless [Ks] river meant Rami will double up to 3,800,000.

Brad St. Vincent eliminated in a double knockout

Brad St. Vincent open shoved for a little over 400,000 and Joseph Corrente called all in for less. Firas Haddad called both all ins, and the rest of the players folded.

Robert Hankins was all in and at risk holding [Ac][7d] and was up against Firas Haddad's [4h][4d]. It was a race for Robert's tournament life, and the [Jh][8d][6d] flop was no help. The [Kh] changed nothing, but the [Ah] on the river was just what Robert needed. He will double up to around 700,000.

At 15,000/30,000 blinds, Firas Haddad opened to 75,000 before David Chaves moved all in for 120,000. Right behind him on the button, Daniel McCoy reraised to 250,000, and Firas thought for a moment before folding.

12:30am update

There are 85 players remaining in Flight D from the 507 that begun the day. Level 14 (1,200/2,400 blinds with a 400 ante) is coming to an end, which means the field will play one more level before bagging up their chips for the night.

Tarun G. wins a weird hand

With just under 15 minutes left in the day, the clock was paused, and players assumed they would be drawing a number of hands left to play for the day. This was not the case, as a card with blood on it was discovered on one of the outer tables, so security had to be brought in to clean the cards.

Preflop action had already occurred, with Tarun G. raising to 5,000 under the gun and getting one caller. Players went on a 15 minute break, and the small blind and big blind who had not acted were two of those players. After the cards had been cleaned, the players returned and the pot continued.

As they returned to the table, both blinds folded, and Tarun bet out on the [Td][3d][Th] flop. His opponent called, and then bet when checked to on the [9c] turn. Tarun called, and then checked again on the [3h] river. His opponent bet 22,500, and Tarun went into the tank. He eventually made the call, and his opponent said, "You got it." Tarun tabled pocket sevens to win the pot and increase his stack to around 140,000.

Play continued to the 10 minute mark, and then it was announced that four more hands will be played before players in Flight C will bag up for the night.

WSOP-C Event #1 is Under Way

Cards are in the air for Event #1 of the first World Series of Poker Circuit on the 2015-2016 schedule. The event is a $500,000 Guaranteed $580 NLH. Flight A is the first of four flights with unlimited re-entries, and registration and re-entries are allowed until level 9. Each flight will end after 15 levels are played, and the survivors will resume on Day 2 on Saturday at 12pm.
