James Campbell Leads the $580 No-Limit Field with 21 Remaining.



With just 21 players remaining in the $580 No-Limit Hold 'em Re-entry event, Foxwoods regular and online legend James Campbell has taken the chip lead.

Campbell sits on over 600,000 in chips and is looking for his first Circuit Ring.

The $580 No-Limit Re-entry Bubble Finally Bursts #



The $580 No-Limit Hold 'em Re-entry field was quickly whittled down from 66 to 46 on Day 2. That, however, is when things slowed down.

With top 45 spots paying, play on the money bubble continued for over an hour before finally losing a player.

All players are now guaranteed at least $1,019 with first paying $49,825.

Among those players still alive are James Campbell and Bobby "The Bus" Ferdinand.

The Rainmaker Statue


One of the most recognized feature of the Foxwoods Resort Casino is the Rainmaker statue.

Located just outside a number of casinos and shops, the statue features a translucent sculpture of a male Mashantucket Pequot Indian on his knee that is illuminated by a laser show every two hours throughout each day. With a simulated thunderstorm and a brief story, the unique Rainmaker statue provides a a glimpse into the historic Pequot story.

As you can see from the photo below, it also serves as a wishing well for children and patrons looking to change their luck.

James Woods in the $365 No-Limit Hold 'em Event

It is not unusual to see legendary actor James Woods at Foxwoods. He is a regular in both the cash games and tournaments when he is on the east coast.

 He is taking his first shot at a Circuit Ring today in the $365 No-Limit Hold 'em event.

 Woods has starred in such films as Casino and Once Upon a Time in America. More recently, he has had a recurring role on Family Guy as him self as well as starring in White House Down with Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.

 He just wrapped up shooting a role on the Showtime Original Series, Ray Donovan.

The 2013-2014 WSOP Circuit Series Kicks off at Foxwoods on Thursday, August 8th!

The 2013-2014 World Series of Poker Circuit Series kicks off right here at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Thursday, August 8th.

Circuit grinders had a great WSOP this summer and now the road to the 2014 World Series of Poker National Championship begins.

Two players will be awarded seats to the WSOP National Championship at Foxwoods over the course of 12 events, including the $1,675 WSOP Circuit Main Event that starts August 17th.

You first chance to take home a Ring is this Thursday as the $365 No-Limit Hold 'em event with a $75,000 guaranteed prize pool kicks off the Series.
