Players from today's $600 Mega Stack Challenge are now on their first 10 minute break of the day.  The tournament clock shows 350 entrants, and we will have official prize pool and payouts shortly.

Nick David is Champion of the 2012 FPC Main Event!

Once heads-up play started, Nick David and Charlie Davis came to an agreement on a chop.  Nick David is officially the Champion of the 2012 Foxwoods Poker Classic Main Event.

Nick David gets $106,329 and the Foxwoods Poker Classic Trophy while Charlie Davis takes home $110,328 plus the watch.

Ryan Methia raises to 165,000 before the flop and Nick David calls.  The flop come [Td][Th][7c] and Methia bets 225,000.  David min-raises to 550,000 and Methia calls.

The turn comes the [9s] and Methia checks.  David checks back and the river comes the [5d].

Methia fires 600,000 and David announces that he is all-in.  Methia calls and they turn up:

Methia flopped a full house but David turned a better full house, taking the pot.

The [6h] then falls on the river, completing his opponent's straight and leaving Pilgrim with only 17,000 in chips.

Defending Foxwoods Poker Classic Main Event Champion Ronnie Pease has been eliminated from the 2012 FPC Main Event.  Last year, Pease was part of a three-way chop at the end of the event, taking home more than $108,000.

Pease was knocked out by his friend, Soheb Porbandarwala, after he four-bet all-in before the flop and was called by Porbandarwala.

The A-5 of Pease was not able to catch up to the pocket queens of Porbandarwala, eliminating him from the Main Event.
