Ted Driscoll was recently eliminated from play by Soukha Kachittavong. According to Driscoll, he opened in the cutoff to 2,600, and Mike Nye called on the button. Soukha Kachittavvong raised to 7,600 in the big blind, and Driscoll shoved all in for 39,500. Nye apparently said that he was going to squeeze with pocket nines, but ended up folding, and Kachittavong snap-called with K♥K♣. Driscoll showed A♥Q♥.
Driscoll was in need of an ace to take the lead, but the flop came king high, giving Kachittavong a set of kings, and Driscoll was unable to improve and was eliminated from play.
"I thought he was squeezing there, which a lot of times he is, but he woke up with kings," Driscoll said as he gathered his belongings.
