Still Six Handed Since The Short Stacks Keep Doubling

Event 9
Level 27 (20,000/40,000/5,000)
Total Entrants: 195
Players Remaining: 6
Chip Average: 660,000

There are now under 100 total big blinds in play but even with that "shortness" we are still six handed as the short stacks have doubled up a few times during the last level.

Tocci's double came just a few moments ago in a standard [9h][9s] versus [Ac][Js] flip, which Tocci would win when he flopped a set of nines, moving him up to the just under the 500,000 chip mark.

Guzzardi's double was a little more interesting and may create an interesting dynamic at this table as Sharman Olshan was not happy with how the hand played out.

The action was picked up with Sharman opening to 125,000 from early position and Guzzardi, next to act, would move all-in for just under 200,000.

The action then folded around to big stacked Gregory Spirito who then re-shoved, more or less blocking Sharman would of the hand as she'd need to have extremely strong holdings to call and risk her tournament life when a player had already committed himself.

She wouldn't and Spirito would table [Ac][10h] slightly ahead of Guzzardi's [Ks][Jh].

The flop would prove beneficial for Guzzardi as it fell [Qh][4s][Js] and he'd fade the broadway outs on the turn and river to complete the double up.

Sharman would shoot Spirito a glare and when asked about the hand she said, "I had you both crushed."

While this played into the next major development at this Final Table or not we'll never know, but Sharman just doubled up through Spirito taking another chunk of his stack as he no longer controls a massive chip lead on this Final Table.
