Event 13 of the Foxwoods World Poker Finals was the $300 Monster Stack NLH with a $25,000 guarantee. There were a total of 193 entries nearly doubling the guarantee with over $48,000 in the prize pool.

Andrew Dentremont started Day 2 as the chip leader and held strong near the top throughout the day. When heads up play began the final two players agreed to split the remaining prize pool and play for the trophy.

Dentremont was the last man standing and he will take home his largest career tournament score earning $10,101 and his first Foxwoods World Poker Finals trophy.

When heads up play began the final two players agreed to split the remaining prize pool and play for the trophy.

 It didn't take long for all of the chip to go in the middle with Galavotti holding J♥️10♦️ against the Q♠️10♥️ of Andrew Dentremont.

Galavotti failed to improve and he is our Monster Stack runner up taking home $10,100 for his second place finish.

Chris Leach
Chris Leach moved all in for about 1,200,000 and Aaron Galavotti called. Leach was in great shape to double up holding A♥️J♦️ against the J♣️Q♦️ of Galavotti.

The 9♦️9♠️2♦️ flop was no help to Galavotti but the Q♣️ hit the turn leaving Leach drawing only to an ace. The 5♣️ completed the board and Leach was eliminated in 3rd place earning $5,013.

Leach snap called turning over Q♦️Q♠️ but Galavotti was holding A♣️A♥️. 

The board ran out clean for Galavotti and he vaults to the top of the chip counts with over 3,000,000 and just four players remaining.

We are expecting a masive turnout tomorrow for Event 17 of the Foxwoods World Poker Finals. 

This event is the $250 NLH $25,000 Guaranteed (Re-Entry) and the winner will receive an added PokerStars PSPC Platinum Pass valued at $30,000.

This will be a one day event and the players will start with 25,000 in non value tournament chips. Tournament registration will open at 9 A.M. and will remain open until the start of Level 11 (Approx. 2:50 P.M.

Fernando Zambrano
Fernando Zambrano moved all in for 540,000 and it folded to Aaron Galavotti in the small blind who re-shoved all in for just over a million. The big blind quickly and the hands were shown.

Zambrano tabled his Q♥️Q♦️ and it was a classic coin flip as Galavotti showed A♠️K♣️.

"Keep it low for me dealer" Zambrano said and he got his wish as the board ran out 9♦️8♥️5♣️8♣️J♥️. Zambrano's pocket queens held up and he doubled his stack as six handed play continues.
