A player was left with only 2,000 in chips and was forced all in, and was called by four players.  The board ran out four hearts, and David Carleton bet on the river.  All other players folded and Carleton showed A10 for the ace high flush.  The player that bubbled showed Aj♣ and was eliminated in 25th place.

There was around 125,000 in the middle and a board reading J♠76when Robert Van Olinda got it all in holding K♠10♠ against Lewis Mitchell's J8.  Mitchell had Van Olinda covered and so when the turn came the 2♠ and the river the Q , Van Olinda was eliminated in second place, making Mitchell the newest World Poker Finals Event Champion.

Mitchell, a native of The United Kingdom, is currently in the United States coaching college soccer.
