Event 6 $600 NLH: Payouts, $18,313 Up Top

Event 6 of the Foxwoods World Series of Poker Circuit is the $600 NLH with a $50,000 guarantee. There were a total of 127 entries creating a prize pool of $65,405.

The final 15 players will all make the cash and be guaranteed at least $1,105. The winner will take home $18,313 along with the WSOP Circuit ring.

David Larson Wins Event 5 ($32,708)

Event 5 of the Foxwoods World Series of Poker Circuit was the $400 Monster Stack NLH event. We had another massive turnout with 461 entries creating a prize pool of more than $150,000.

After two days of tournament play David Larson was the last man standing. The Las Vegas pro chipped up early on Day 2 and never looked back on his way to victory.

Larson takes home $32,708 along with his first World Series of Poker Circuit and he has now earned more than $650,000 in live tournaments throughout his career.

Gedge Bagdonas got his stack of just over 5,000,000 all in pre-flop holding A♦️K♦️ against the Q♦️J♣️ of David Larson. The dealer fanned the J♦️10♥️3♦️ flop and it was an action flop with Larson flopping top pair and Bagdonas picking up both straight and flush draws.

The turn brought the J♠️ improving Larson to trip jacks and the A♥️ completed the board. The two players shook hands and Bagdonas is our Event 5 Monster Stack NLH runner up taking home $20,234 for his efforts.

Ian Wright got his stack of 2,200,000 all in pre-flop holding 7♦️7♣️ against the K♦️9♠️ of David Larson. The board ran out J♠️10♦️6♠️J♣️Q♦️ and Larson improved to a king high straight to earn the knockout.

Larson is our 3rd place Event 5 Monster Stack finisher and will take home $14,756.

Philip Shing moved all in for 1,100,000 and David Larson called from the big blind. Shing showed 4♥️4♦️ and Larson turned over K♥️6♠️.

The board ran out J♥️10♥️6♥️J♣️9♦️ and Larson's pair of sixes was enough to earn him the knockout. Shing is our 4th place Event 5 finisher earning $10,954.

Attillio Bitondo
David Larson and Attilio Bitondo went heads up to the A♣️7♦️4♦️ flop. Bitondo moved all in for last 780,000 and after thinking it over for a bit Larson called.

Bitondo showed Q♦️8♦️ for a queen high flush draw but would need to improve against the Q♣️Q♥️ of Bitondo. The turn 7♣️ and river 9♣️ were no help to Bitondo and he was eliminated in 5th place taking home $8,215 for his efforts.

In one of the first hands back from dinner break David Larson and Philip Shing went heads up to the Q♦️8♦️7♥️ flop. Larson checked and Shing slid out a bet of 400,000. Larson called and both players checked the Q♣️ turn card.

The river was the 4♥️ and Larson fired out a bet of 1,000,000. After giving it some thought Shing made the call and Larson tabled K♥️Q♥️ for trip queens. 

Shing fired his hand face down into the muck and Larson is leading the final five players with 5,560,000.

Pushpa Agarwal and David Larson were heads up on the turn and the board read A♠️Q♦️10♠️J♥️. There was already more than 1,000,000 in the pot and Agarwal moved all in for just under 500,000.

Larson snap called turning over K♣️10♥️ for a straight and Agarwal showed Q♥️4♥️. The 9♣️ river card sealed the deal for Larson and Agarwal is our 6th place Event 5 finisher taking home $6,267 for her efforts.
