Mike Clemente
Mike Clemente moved to the livestream feature table in the previous level and was in the middle of the pack with about 200,000. He managed to score a knockout holding ace ten against his opponents ace nine.

Clemente then took another monster pot the very next hand when he was dealt pocket aces. He hasn't looked back and is now leading the way with 745,000 and less than two levels of play left in the night.

A player in middle position moved all in for 29,000 and David Albright called from the small blind. The player showed A♦️Q♣️ and was in great shape to double up against the K♥️Q♥️ of Albright.

There was a king in the window for Albright to take the lead on the K♦️9♠️7♣️ flop. The turn 10♥️ and river 5♥️ sealed the deal for Albright to earn him the knockout.

There are now just 54 players remaining and they are now all in the money and guaranteed at least $578 for their efforts.

The Monster Stack players have returned from dinner break and the cards are back in the air. There are just 130 players remaining. and it's Aaron Barham leading the way with 355,000.

Barham got off to a great start his series final tabling the opening event. He fell just short of his first WSOP but locked up $2,648 for his 5th place finish. There are less than three hours of play left in the night and Barham will look to finish strong on his way to Day 2.

Event 4 of the Foxwoods WSOP Circuit was the $600 NLH $500,000 guarantee. There were 1,560 entries and Alex Jim was the last man standing. Jim took home $134,570 along with his first WSOP Circuit ring after a lengthy day of play that wrapped up just before 4 A.M.

Jim is rested up and was among the last wave of players to take their seats here in the $400 Monster Stack. He is already mixing it up in plenty of pots and wasted no time putting his starting stack to work.

As we pick up on the Event 5 Monster Stack action we see Glen Minxolli sitting behind a big stack. In the previous blind level the action folded to the cutoff who limped in and the small blind raised to 725.

Minxolli called from the big blind and the player in the cutoff called. They saw a flop of Q♣️6♥️8♥️ and the small blind checked. Minxolli bet 900 and the cutoff called. 

The small blind check-raised to 3,200 and Minxolli made it 7,900. The cutoff folded and the small blind called. Both players checked the 4♥️ turn card and the river was the 2♣️.

The small blind checked and Minxolli moved all in for just over 21,000. His opponent called and Minxolli turned over 6♣️6♠️ for a flopped set of sixes. The player fired his hand into the muck and Minxolli earned the early double up.

Alex Jim Wins Event 2 ($134,570)

Event 2 of the Foxwoods WSOP Circuit was the $600 NLH event with a $500,000 guarantee. There was a massive turnout with 1,560 entries creating a prize pool of more than $800,000.

After two long days of play it was the New York native Alex Jim in the winners circle. Jim started Day 2 in the middle of the pack with just under 100,000 but picked his spots and stayed patient throughout the day.

He secured key double-ups time after time and won the biggest pot of the tournament during three handed play holding pocket kings when it mattered most. Jim then brought more than a 2-1 chip lead into heads-up play.

Jeremy Wing managed to take the chip lead during heads-up play but Jim kept his composure and quickly battled back. The $134,570 first place cash is Jim's largest live tournament score and he wins his first major title along with the coveted WSOP Circuit ring.

In a limped pot the players saw a flop of J♦️8♦️8♥️. Jeremy Wing checked and Alex Jim threw out a bet of 300,000. Wing check raised all in for 2,500,000 and Jim snap called turning over 8♣️6♥️ for trip eights.

Wing showed 7♦️3♦️ for a flush draw and the 2♣️ and 8♠️ completed the board. "That's a good one to win the tournament" said Wing as Jim improved to quad eights.

The two players shook hands after a long day of play and Wing is our Event 2 runner up taking home $83,313 for his efforts.

In one of the first hands of heads up play Jeremy Wing moved all in for 8,700,000 over the raise of Alex Jim who quickly called. Wing showed 3♠️3♥️ and Jim tabled A♦️K♣️.

The board ran out 7♥️5♣️4♦️7♠️J♣️ and Wing's pocket pair held up to earn him the double up. Wing moves into the chip lead and heads up play continues.
