The player under the gun moves all in. It folds to Tom Butler in the cutoff who asks for a count.  Upon hearing the 17,400 total, Butler calls.  It folds to the big blind who looks at his cards and says, "Don't think I can do it again."

A player at the table says, "Sixes," questioningly. The big blind smiles, flashes 66, and then tosses them into the muck.

"They worked for you before," a player not involved in the hand says to the big blind.

"Nah, somebody has an over-pair," the player responds just before the hands are tabled.

Butler: A♣Q
Under the Gun: Q7

The flop comes J102 giving the at-risk player a flush draw, but unfortuantely for him, the 9♠ turn and 9♣ river do not improve his hand, and he is eliminated from play.

Facing a raise from the player on the button, Mark Perry moves all in from the small blind for just under 30,000, and it folds back to the button who goes deep into the tank.

After a few minutes Perry stands up in his chair and says, "I just really want to bag," while winking at a player at the table.

"Wait, does that make me sound weak?" Perry asks with a smile on his face.

Another two full minutes pass before the button tosses in a chip to call.

Perry:  Q♠Q♣
Button: 7♣7

The board runs out K326A, awarding Perry a double up just a few hands before the end of play.

Douglas Drexel

Douglas Drexel limps in from the cutoff, and the player in the small blind moves all in for 21,000. Jake Dennehy raises to 40,000 in the big blind, effectively half of his stack, and Drexel moves all in, having both players covered. Dennehy calls for his 80,000, and the three players table their hands.

Dennehy: 7♣7
Drexel: A♣A
Small Blind: A10

"Just no seven please," Drexel says, "I dont mind being beat by the ace ten of diamonds, just please no seven."

The flop comes J8♣2♠, leaving Drexel in the lead with his pair of aces. The Q♠ turn maintains that lead, but also gives the small blind a gutshot straight draw.

"Go ahead and give him the king," Drexel says, "Just please no seven."

The 3 river is safe for Drexel, and both of his opponents are eliminated from play, while he takes the chip lead of Flight C, with a little over two full levels of play before bag.

Douglas Drexel - 245,000
Jake Dennehy - Eliminated

Event #6, Flight C - Nick Palma Accidentally Sends One Home

Event #6C: $400 NLH Multi Flight Re-Entry $125,000 Guaranteed

A player moves all in for around 17,000 in early position.  Nick Palma, who has been talking a lot about being on the feature table, increasing viewership, and doing things "for the fans" (having even tweeted out about it), says, "I am raising this for the fans," apparently before looking at his cards or making any movement.

The dealer stops the action and says that Palma's verbal declaration is binding.  Palma asks that the floor be called over. The floor rules that it must be a raise.

"I am effectively all-in anyways," Palma says as he moves his remaining chips forward.

As the other players are folding, Palma says, "Well, I have a pretty good hand, so I guess it's fine either way."

After the big blind has folded Palma and his opponent turn over their cards.

Palma: KQ♣
Opponent: A♠K♠

The flop comes A64♣, increasing the at-risk player's lead when he makes a pair of aces.

The J♣ on the turn maintains that lead, but also gives Palma a gutshot straight draw.

The 10 on the river brings in the straight for Palma, and his opponent is eliminated from play.

"Thanks a lot floor," the player says semi light-heartedly as he prepares to exit the tournament area, "It was the right call, but man that sucks for me."

After they have moved on to the next hand, the whole table, including the dealer,  talk about the semantics of the hand. Palma insists that for the good of the game, the TD had discretion to rule that it wasn't a raise. The entire table disagrees, as does Palma's friend Mark Perry, who has come over to the table to see what all of the commotion is about.

"Yeah, but what if I said, 'I SHOULD raise this for the fans?'" Palma asks.

The dealer responds, "Then that would likely be different, but you didn't say the word should," as a few players at the table nod in agreement.

Palma thinks for a another few seconds and then says, "Yeah, but what if I said, 'I am raising this,' without the 'for the fans' part?"

"It doesn't matter," a player at the table, not involved in the hand, says to Palma, "What if you had said, 'I am calling this for the fans?' Or what if you had just said, 'I am calling?' Would that be any different?"

Palma shrugs his shoulders, seemingly in agreement with the player.

"I mean, it worked out for me, but I am just not sure it was the best call by the floor," Palma concludes.

Nick Palma - 81,000

John Fontana
Hand #1:

Facing a shove from Brian Ng in the big blind, John Fontana has called the all-in from under the gun, having Ng slightly covered.

Ng:  AA♣
Fontana: Q♠Q

Ng is ahead, but only until the flop comes A♣5♣3 giving Fontana the lead when he flops a set of queens.

Unfortunately for Ng, the 2♠ turn and 6 river do not improve his hand, and he is eliminated from play.

"How did I know that was going to happen?" Ng asks in frustration as he stands up from the table.

"I'm sorry," Fontana says genuinely

Brian Ng - Eliminated
