The $400 NLH Big Stack Bounty Semi-Turbo final table is now set and it's Derek Kerns leading the way with 764,000. Billy Pappas is once again making another deep run and he sits in second with 634,000.

Michael Mihalik
We catch up to the heads up action on the turn and the board reads A♠️K♦️10♥️8♠️. Michael Mihalik checks to his opponent who bets 30,000 into a main pot of about 100,000.

Mihalik check raises all in covering his opponent who has about 80,000 behind. "Alright I'll be the bubble" the player says as she makes the call for her tournament life turning over K♠️7♦️.

She is drawing dead as Mihalik shows K♥️8♥️ for two pair. The meaningless 6♥️ completes the board and Mihalik scores the knockout to earn the $100 bounty and burst the bubble.

Mihalik looks to be the chip leader with 650,000 and the final 18 players are now all in the money and guaranteed at least $563.

The Big Stack Bounty NLH players have returned from their dinner break and play is back underway. They are inching closer to the money bubble as 26 remain and the final 18 players will all make the money and be guaranteed at least $563.

There are plenty of familiar faces in the field including Billy Pappas who finished in 11th place in the Monster Stack NLH event earlier today. He wasted no time joining the Event 10 field and is sitting with about 200,000.

Also still in the hunt is Frank Papparazzo who is one of the largest stacks in the room with just over 400,000.


Event 10: $400 NLH Big Stack Bounty Semi-Turbo Payouts


Event 10 of the Foxwoods Poker Classic is the $400 ($250 Buy In/$50 Entry Fee/$100 Bounty) NLH Big Stack Bounty Semi Turbo. There were a total of 147 entries creating a prize pool of $35,205.

The final 18 players will all make the money and guaranteed at least $563. The winner will take home $9,154 and the Foxwoods Poker Classic trophy.

Quintin Tyson Wins the $300 NLH Monster Stack Event ($16,887)


Event 9 of the Foxwoods Poker Classic was the $300 NLH Monster Stack event. There were a total of 292 entries creating a prize pool of $73,642.

When the dust settled Quintin Tyson was the last man standing earning $16,778 and the Foxwoods Poker Classic trophy.

Tyson was down to just 10,000 chips early on in the tournament but he doubled up and never looked back. He came into the final table second in chips and picked his spots eliminating three of the final ten players.

Tyson adds his second Foxwoods Poker title to his resume and notches his largest career tournament score brining his career earnings to over $50,000.

Jimmy Nguyen
Jimmy Nguyen raises to 245,000 and Quintin Tyson calls. They see a flop of Q♥️10♥️6♣️ and Nguyen continues with a bet of 200,000. Tyson makes the call and the dealer burns and turns the 4♥️.

Nguyen moves all in for 1,400,000 and Tyson quickly calls turning over J♥️2♥️ for a turned flush. Nguyen shows K♥️K♠️ and will need a heart on the river to stay alive.

The 4♦️ completes the board and the two players shake hands as Nguyen is our Monster Stack runner up earning $10,309 for his efforts.

In one of the first hands of heads up play Quintin Tyson raises to 225,000 and Jimmy Nguyen reraises to 575,000. Tyson calls and they see a flop of J♣️8♣️2♥️.

Nguyen leads out with a bet of 350,000 and Tyson moves all in for 3,650,000. Nguyen makes the call turning over A♥️J♠️ and Tyson shows A♣️3♣️ for the nut flush draw.

The turn is the 4♣️ and Tyson spikes his club improving to the nut flush leaving Nguyen drawing dead. The 9♣️ hits the river and Tyson doubles up to take the chip lead as the heads up Monster Stack battle continues.
